School's out for summer!

It's the jubilant war cry of kids everywhere that induces panic in the hearts of parents.

OnlinePopstar answers the call and is here with ready-made karaoke fun for kids of all ages!

With a leap of joy, we proudly announce the launch of PopstarKids at OnlinePopstar!

The PopstarKids section is now open and ready for your song submissions!

Any OnlinePopstar member with an All Access Pass can upload recordings of their children (ages 2-14) singing (or reciting a poem, etc.) and they'll be posted on the public site where anyone can go and listen! You can also upload a picture and a message to share with friends and family!

This is a great way for our members to share their love of karaoke and singing with their kids and also lets the kids have their own moment in the spotlight!

There is a message board on the PopstarKids page for family and friends to leave messages for our PopstarKids, too!

Kids who are so inclined are welcome to submit their songs (karaoke, a cappella, or originals) to the site and enter in the PopstarKids Contest!

Music is a wonderful creative outlet for people of all ages, children especially. Musically-involved kids are far less likely to become bored with free time on their hands as musical pursuits are completely creative and engaging!

Kids who pursue musical interests perform better in school and socially than those who don't and statistics show that children who pursue creative interests rarely encounter trouble with drugs, alcohol, and the law.

We hope that everyone takes advantage of the fun and excitement that is offered at PopstarKids and comes up with some great sounds to show off to the world!

Singers, get your mics warmed up! The OnlinePopstar.com CyberStars online karaoke contest begins on April 6, and runs through July 9, 2006. The twelve-week contest is sure to be exciting as we look forward to discovering the OnlinePopstar Grand Champion! Weekly winners will win a cash prize and advance to the Finals, where 12 CyberSingers will compete for the Grand Prize. The prize pool is $850 and will increase each week as more singers enter the competition!
