OnlinePopstar Judging Criteria

OnlinePopstar judges have been chosen for their talent, acuity,

professional accomplishments, and knowledgeable insight.

You can be assured that they utilize the most fastidious criteria in their vocal assessments

and that their decisions are beyond reproach.

That being said, the following six criteria are applied in judging the online karaoke contest:

1. Vocal Quality - Natural singing talent and vocal range.
2. Vocal Clarity - Enunciation
3. Vocal Pitch/Timing - Hitting the notes on key at the right time.
4. Vocal Strength - Loud or soft enough. Natural fluctuation of vocals.
5. Song Difficulty - Dynamic range and/or tempo of song.
6. Overall Entertainment Value - As adjucated by the Pros

Each of the criteria above are scored on a scale of 1-5 points.

A PERFECT vocal would score 30 from the judges. (5 points X 6 criteria=30 points)
